Materials:
Acorn caps
Felt balls or small pom poms
Glue
Toilet paper rolls
Yarn
Gold paint pr glitter (optional)
1. Using scissors, cut a toilet paper roll into inch long pieces to create the form for your napkin ring, and wrap with yarn. Be careful to wrap the yarn tightly to avoid gaps. When the entire ring is covered, secure the yarn with a knot.
2. Glue an acorn cap to a felt ball to create the felt acorn. Caps with their stems give a more realistic acorny look.
3. Attach the felted acorn to the napkin ring with glue and let dry.
You can leave your acorns au natural, or add a bit of shimmer with gold paint and glitter for a bit of holiday sparkle to your place settings.
